Books on My Nightstand: September 2008

What's On Your Nightstand

This is my first participation in a blog carnival! 5 Minutes for Books (click to see everyone else's links!) does a monthly carnival where participators can post what books are currently on their nightstand. I have plenty (I rarely read only 1 book at a time) so I thought I'd join in. Here's my current nightstand o' books:

  1. Princess Mia (PD #9) by Meg Cabot {fun YA fiction!}

  2. Calm My Anxious Heart by Linda Dillow {my Bible study book}

  3. No Plot? No Problem! by Chris Baty {more on this book in the near future}

  4. Write is a Verb by Bill O'Hanlon {looked interesting, haven't started!}

  5. Gorgeously Green by Sophie Uliano {had it checked out for awhile, need to get on it!}

  6. Eats, Shoots and Leaves by Lynne Truss (for the grammar nerd in me)

  7. Bella Tuscany by Frances Mayes {my ongoing nightstand book- I love it because I can pick it up and read it at any time, even after a while, as it's little vignettes, stories & recipes that don't necessarily depend on each other}
